Output folder
The output folder of the Application Agent and VSS Provider trace log files differ depending on whether
the installation-folder-for-Application-Agent\DRM\log folder exists. If this folder
does not exist, the log files are placed on the desktop.
Output format
The formats of data output to the trace log files are as follows:
Format 1
yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm:ss
Format 2
The format of Windows Installer logs
Windows Installer log data is output from the Application Agent installer. An example of output log
data is as follows:

Application Agent log entries related to VSS Provider
In the Application Agent installer log file, check whether the following data has been output to the
log. If the data has been output, an error occurred during a VSS Provider installation or uninstallation.
If that is the case, check the VSS Provider installer log file to view the details of the error.
The following are examples of data output to the log when an error occurred during a VSS Provider
operation.

Resolving Application Agent operation errors
Application Agent is set up to support application linkage on hosts (database and backup servers).
If an error occurs during user operation, an error message provides information indicating the host
where the error occurred, regardless of whether that host is a database or backup server. For this
reason, you must collect information about the host occurred. When multiple agents are installed (such
as Device Manager Agent), it is necessary to collect information about other agents that are stored
