• If a user selected both the P9000 Continuous Access Journal (or XP Continuous Access

Journal) task and the Delta P9000 Continuous Access Journal (or XP Continuous Access

Journal) task in a 3DC Delta Resync configuration, and then performed task editing, the task

failed with the KAVN02502-E error message.

• Replication Manager might output the KAVN00004-E (RPM-01014) error message to the

Replication Manager event log when the Replication Manager service stopped.

• When using the Firefox browser in Linux, on Edit Task page for Business Copy or Snapshot

copy type, a user selected Assign CTG for At-Time Split check box, but CTGID drop-down

list was unavailable.

• When using the Firefox browser in Linux, on Edit Task of P9000 Continuous Access Journal

(or XP Continuous Access Journal) for a 3DC multi-target configuration, a user set Required

Execution Time to a time later than Execution Request Time for 3DC Delta Resync. If a user

clicked the OK button, it failed with the KAVN00575-E (RPM-00477) error message, and then if

a user clicked the Back button, Replication Manager displayed Edit Task incorrectly.

• drmsqlrecovertool (used to recover databases) might fail with the KAVX1358-E message.

Important considerations

Replacing secondary volumes of Continuous Access Synchronous or

Continuous Access Journal in a 3DC multi-target configuration (open

systems)

To replace all the secondary volumes included in a Continuous Access Synchronous or P9000

Continuous Access Journal (or XP Continuous Access Journal) copy pair, launch the Pair

Configuration wizard more than once to replace the secondary volumes according to the following

procedure.

1. Generate and execute the replacement tasks to partly replace the secondary volumes of the

Continuous Access Synchronous or P9000 Continuous Access Journal (or XP Continuous

Access Journal) copy pair.

2. Generate and execute the replacement tasks for the secondary volumes not replaced in step (1).

If you use Pair Configuration wizard only once to generate and execute the replacement tasks for all

of the secondary volumes in the P9000 Continuous Access Journal (or Continuous Access XP

Journal) Synchronous or Continuous Access Journal copy pair, task execution might fail.

Launching Pair Configuration wizard

If all of the following conditions are met when you launch the Pair Configuration wizard, the launch

might fail with the KAVN00209-E error message.

Conditions

(1) Among the copy groups configuring a multi-target configuration, a copy pair with a different

configuration from the other copy pairs (such as a copy pair included in only one copy group)

exists.

(2) In the list of LUNs shown when, in the Explorer menu, you select either Resources, Hosts and

then LUNs or you select Resources, Storage Systems and then Open and then LUNs, you select

a volume included in the copy pair described in (1), and then launch the Pair Management wizard.

For a configuration that meets condition (1), to launch the Pair Management wizard, complete the

following procedure to select a copy group and then launch the Pair Management wizard.

In the Explorer menu, select Resources, and then Pair Configurations, select Pair Management

Server, Config File, and then Copy Group, and then click the Pair Management button.
