Replication Manager
If Application Agent is installed on the management server, you need to secure
an additional 128 MB of virtual memory for Application Agent.
Example of calculating virtual memory
When installing Device Manager and Replication Manager, if 1,000 MB of virtual memory is already
used by the OS and other programs:1,024 (for Device Manager) + 100 (for Replication Manager)
+ 500 (for P9000 Command View AE Common Component) + 1,000 (already used virtual memory)
= 2,624
Therefore, 2,624 MB or more of virtual memory must be secured.
Management server perm heap sizes and virtual memory
The following table shows perm heap sizes and the amount of virtual memory required for management
servers.

Disk space for Replication Monitor log files (5.x upgrade only)
To determine the space required for backing up the Replication Monitor log file, use the following
formula (which uses the settings in the logger.properties file)
logger.MaxBackupIndex * logger.MaxFileSize
For details about the logger.properties file, see “Properties in the logger.properties
file” on page 73.
NOTE:
The configuration must always be refreshed when Replication Monitor is upgraded from v5.x to v7.x
