Device Manager mainframe host agent properties
The host.properties file contains properties of the mainframe host agent.
• In Windows:
installation-folder-for-the-Device-Manager-server\Server\config\
host.properties
• In Linux:
installation-directory-for-the-Device-Manager-server/Server/config/
host.properties
This property file contains settings for communication between the Device Manager server and
mainframe hosts.
host.mf.agent.connection.timeout
This property specifies the timeout (in seconds) for communication processing between the Device
Manager server and a mainframe host agent. Valid values are 0 and from 30 to 3600 (seconds). If
you specify 0, no timeout applies. You should only modify this property if you are an expert system
administrator seeking to fine-tune performance of the mainframe host agent.
Default: 300
Linkage with Host Data Collector properties
The hostdatacollectors.properties file contains properties for linkage with Host Data
Collector.

hdc.connectinfo
This property specifies the IP address or host name and the port number of the Host Data Collector
Web server in the following format:
IPv4-address-or-host-name:[port-number],IPv4-address-or-host-name:[port-number],...
You can omit port numbers. If you omit port numbers, 23051 is assumed to be specified.
