Management server requirements
This section describes the system requirements for the management server.
Setting the memory heap size
An adequate memory heap size must be specified to handle the number of resources assumed in the
environment managed by Device Manager, Tiered Storage Manager, and Replication Manager.
Maximum number of resources that can be managed
The table below describes how many resources Device Manager, Tiered Storage Manager, and
Replication Manager can manage. We recommend that you operate each product within these limits.
