The path to the LU managed by the Device Manager recog-
nized by the host has been disabled, possibly due to a lost
connection. Either restore the disabled path, or change the
OS settings so that the disabled path is no longer recog-
nized.
When executing the HiScan com-
mand, the KAIC22019-E error mes-
sage is output, and host information
cannot be registered on the Device
Manager server.

Another P9000 Command View AE Suite product might
have attempted to access the Device Manager agent either
immediately after the installation of the Device Manager
agent was complete, or immediately after the Device Man-
ager agent services started. Wait a few minutes, and then
retry the operation.
A communication error occurs, and the
processing of other P9000 Command
View AE Suite products stops.

Execute the hbsa_util command to delete the files and
registry entries of the Device Manager agent.
To execute the hbsa_util command:
1. Log on to Windows as a user with Administrator per-
missions.
2. Execute the hbsa_util command.
For details on the command, see “hbsa_util command
syntax” on page 226.
In a Windows environment, two copies
of HBase Agent are displayed in the
Add or Remove programs window of
the computer on which the Device
Manager agent or Hitachi Dynamic
Link Manager is installed.
