NOTE:
When using Device Manager Agent on VMware 4.x, you must confirm the prerequisite combination
of Device Manager server and Device Manager Agent. Even if you confirm the combination, note the
following:
If the target volume is set as a command device on the virtual machine, by using Add CMD
Devices, the virtualization server needs to be restarted to recognize the command device.
Windows Server Hyper-V
Application Agent supports a Windows environment that is run as a guest OS of Windows Server
2008 Hyper-V and Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V3. The following tables list the scope of support

2. SQL Server cluster configurations are supported on the guest OS if the disk being used is directly
connected using iSCSI.
3. This is supported for SQL Server 2005 SP3 or later. The status of Windows Server 2008 Hyper-
V support depends on the method used to connect to the guest OS.
4. Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 are supported.
5. The SQL Server cluster configuration on multiple guest operating systems is supported by V7.1.0
or later if the following conditions are met:
a. The disk used is an iSCSI direct connect.
b. The SQL Server version used is one of the following:
