ModifyVirtualizationServer
ModifyVirtualizationServer modifies information about virtualization servers.
NOTE:
This command does not support configurations that use Host Data Collector as the virtualization-server
management program.
• If you are using VMware ESX 4.x or VMware ESXi 4.x as the virtualization software, you can
execute the command only if you are using vMA as the virtualization-server management program.
• If you are using VMware ESXi 5.x as the virtualization software, you cannot execute the command.
Format
When modifying information about a virtualization server:
hdvmcli [URL] ModifyVirtualizationServer [options]
hostname=host-name-of-virtualization-server
[ipaddress=IP-address] [hostprotocol={Secure|Non-secure}]
[hostuserid=user-ID] [hostuserpassword=user-password]
