1 Master Firmware Versions 1.1 Overview The tables in this document list the minimum firmware versions required for correct operation of the HP XC Version 3.0 System Software. HP recommends that you install the latest released firmware version which may be newer than the versions listed in this document.

1.3 ProCurve Switches Table 1-1 Minimum Firmware Versions for ProCurve Switches Component Minimum Firmware Version ProCurve Switch 2650 The minimum firmware version is H.07.02. However, be aware that the discovery protocol changed with firmware version H.08.77. All switches on an XC network must support the same discovery protocol. • Firmware Version H.07.02 supports the Cisco discovery protocol (CDP).
