1. Log in as superuser (root) on the head node.
2. Shut down SLURM:
# scontrol shutdown
3. Run the configuration scripts to remove SLURM from the head node:
# /opt/hptc/slurm/etc/gconfig.d/slurm_gconfig.pl gunconfigure
# /opt/hptc/slurm/etc/nconfig.d/slurm_nconfig.pl nunconfigure
4. Update the golden image. See Chapter 10 (page 129) for more information.
5. Propagate the new golden image to all nodes. See Chapter 10 (page 129) for more information.
