External Ethernet Connections
During the Kickstart installation process, you are prompted to supply the Ethernet device to
use as the head node’s connection to the external network. Use the information in Table B-1 to
determine the correct port based on the type of system interconnect in use and the number of
Ethernet ports on the head node. The app ro priate choice for the external connection is shown
in the c olumn titled E xternal Connection.
