9. Enter PC (power cycle) to turn on power to the node; then choose the Boot Option
Maintenance Menu.
10. Press Ctr l/b to return to the Main menu.
11. Enter CO to connect to the console.
12. From the EFI Boot Manager screen, which is d isplayed during the power o n of
the node, c hoose the Boot Option Maintenance Menu. Perform this step on
all nodes except the head node.
a. C hoose Add a Boot Option.
b. Choose the network boot ch oice, wh ich is the Gigab it Eth ernet (GigE) port:
On HP In tegrity rx162 0 and rx2620 servers, choose Load File [Core
LAN Gb A].
On HP Integrity rx2600 servers, choose
[Acpi(HWP0002,100)/Pci(2|0)/Mac(XXXXXXXXXXXX)].
c. Enter the string Netboot as the boot option d escription. This entry is required
and must be set to the string Netboot.
d. Enter N for No Boot Option when prompted for the Boot Option Data Type.
e. Choose the option to save the entry to NVRAM.
f. Choose Exit to qu it the Add a Boot Option menu.

13. From the EFI Boot Manager screen, choose the option to Change Boot Order.
Perform this step on all nodes except the head node:
a. Use the u keyonthekeyboardtomovetheNetboot entryyoujustdefinedtothe
top of the boot ord er.
b. Save the setting to the NVRAM.
c. C hoose Exit to quit the Change Boot Order men u.
14. Perform this step on all nodes, including the head node:
a. C hoose the Select Active Console Output Devices option from the
Boot Option Maintenance Menu to enable console m essages to be displayed
on the screen when you turn on the system:
i. Enable the Acpi(HWP0002,700)/Pci(1|1)/Uart(9600
N81)/VenMsg(Vt100+) option.
ii. Enable the Acpi(HWP0002,700)/Pci(2|0) option.
iii. Save the setting to the NVRAM.
iv. Choose Exit to return to the Boot Option Maintenance menu.
b. Choose the Select Active Console Input Devices option from th e
Boot Option Maintenance Menu to enable console m essages to be displayed
on the screen when you turn on the system:
i. Enable the Acpi(HWP0002,700)/Pci(2|0) option.
ii. Save the setting to the NVRAM .
iii. Choose Exit to return to the Boot Option Maintenance Menu.
