Setting the SwitchType var iable in the /hptc_cluster/slurm/etc/slurm.conf
configuration file controls the su pport f or QsNet

• Set the variable as f ollows to enable QsNet

support in SLURM:
SwitchType=switch/elan
• Set the variable as fo llo ws to disable QsNet

support in SLURM:
SwitchType=switch/none
You must restart SLURM on all no des as follo
ws any time you change the SwitchType
variable:
