This example indicates that two nodes, n3 and n4,
supply the syslogng_forward service.
The global no de, which is the head node, also pro
vides this service. By using the headnode
command to rule out the head node, you can ident
ify the regional node or nodes.

In the previous examp le, the global node is n4, and there is only one regional node, n3.
This three-tiere d ap proach arranges the log
files in order of importance as defined by the
syslog-ng.conf rules file.
You can use a text editor, such as emacs or vi, to read the l og files, and you can use a variety
of text manipulation commands to find, sort, and format th ese l og files.
