New features
The following features are new in this release:
X9000 software snapshots.
NOTE: You can use either the software method or the block method to take snapshots on a file
system. Using both snapshot methods simultaneously on the same file system is not supported.
Data retention and validation.
Case-insensitive file names for all users (Linux, NFS, Windows).
SMB2 support.
WebDAV support for HTTP clients.
Ibrix Collect utility to collect system information for HP Support. Ibrix Collect replaces the support
ticket utility provided in earlier releases. The new ibrix_collect command replaces
ibrix_supportticket.
Statistics tool that reports historical performance data for the cluster or for an individual file serving
node.
The GUI and CLI now report information for both Active Tasks and Inactive Tasks. Previously,
information was available only for active tasks. The GUI provides Active Tasks and Inactive Tasks
