3.02.0a HP StoreEasy 5000 Storage Release Notes (B7E02-96051, June 2013)

System Management Homepage
Software version 3.02.0a ships with Internet Explorer 10. After installing this version and opening
the HP System Management Homepage, a message displays that an incompatible browser is
running.
Although Internet Explorer 9 is the latest version supported with HP System Management
Homepage, if you click OK on the message, the HP System Management Homepage will eventually
open. This will be addressed in a future release of the System Management Homepage.
When using the UID function in the HP System Management Homepage to identify a controller
enclosure, the functionality may not work properly. For example, if you click On, the state remains
as Off. Conversely, if you click Off, the state remains as On.
If this situation occurs, repeat the step to turn the UID On or Off. The second attempt will be
successful.
Windows Server Manager
When a virtual disk fails, you cannot use the Repair Virtual Disk option in Windows Server
Manager to fix it because the option is unavailable. Nor can you use the Repair-VirtualDisk
cmdlet in Windows PowerShell.
Use the HP 1210m Volume Online tool to repair a failed virtual disk. See “HP 1210m Volume
Online Tool” in the HP StoreEasy 5000 Storage Administrator Guide for more information.
Installation instructions
Instructions for installing the storage system are provided in the HP StoreEasy 5000 Storage Quick
