Description These release notes describe the release of version 4.00.0a for HP StoreEasy 3000 Storage running Windows Storage Server 2012 or 2012 R2 Standard Edition. IMPORTANT: Included with your storage system is the HP System Recovery DVD. This DVD is used to restore the system to factory defaults. Keep this DVD in a safe place.
• The Register for HP proactive notifications link enables you to register your product with HP and enables you to receive notifications regarding system updates, critical issues, and announcements of feature updates. • The Reseller information tool link enables you to enter the reseller information that can be used for future reference. • The HP LiveVault 30–day trial link assists you to register for a free 30-day trial of HP LiveVault, a cloud based backup system.

This message appears after joining an HP StoreEasy 3000 system to a domain, and then logging on to the system again as the local administrator. This occurs when you deploy HP StoreEasy 3000 Storage in a cluster configuration or on a standalone server. To resolve this issue, perform the following: 1. Add a domain user as a member of the local Administrators group on the HP StoreEasy 3000 Storage system. 2. Log off and log on again as the domain user.
• When discovery is in progress on clustered systems and if you click the remote node in the tree view (the left navigation pane), then after the discovery is complete the tree view is empty. To view the remote node tree view, click the local node and then click the remote node. • When assigning a range of VLAN IDs to a Team, if the incremental value is blank, then NCT proceeds to the next page without any prompts, even if: ◦ There are invalid inputs. ◦ No VLAN ID is assigned to that particular Team.
5. Click Delete from Tasks. System installation and recovery • The Internet Printing Client features are not installed by default with the operating system. Use 1. 2. 3. • Windows Server Manager to manually install these features: Select Features and then click Add Features. Select Internet Printing Client in the features list. Click Next and complete the Add Features Wizard installation process. The time zone selected during the image process is not retained.
