Conﬁguring HP WebQoS

To successfully conﬁgure HP WebQoS Peak on Solaris, do the following:

1. Install and conﬁgure your Netscape Enterprise Server.

2. Run the setup script.

3. Set the HP WebQoS conﬁgurable parameters.

Installing and Conﬁguring Your Netscape Enterprise

Server

You must install, conﬁgure, and enable CGI on your Netscape Enterprise

Server before you run the setup script. If you re-install the Netscape

Enterprise Server, you must re-run the setup script.

Running the Setup Script

To run the setup script, type:

/opt/webqospk/setup

At the Root pathname of Netscape server prompt, enter the

Netscape Server root directory.

The setup script automatically conﬁgures and enables HP WebQoS.

Default values set for all applicable conﬁguration parameters are listed

in “HP WebQoS Conﬁgurable Parameters” on page 36.

“/usr/xpg4/bin/grep: not found”

If you receive the error message /usr/xpg4/bin/grep: not found

while running the setup script, you need to load this version of grep on

your system from your Solaris system CD for the setup script to complete

successfully.
