Compatibility and Installation Requirements
Compatibility and Installation Requirements
The following is the list of requirements to install HP WebQoS .
Hardware
• HP 9000 computer system
• 32 MB of memory
• CD-ROM drive to load the software
Software
• Netscape Enterprise Server version 4.0 or later, Zeus web server version 3.3.4, or Apache
Server 1.3.6 or later
• Cisco LocalDirector version 2.1 or later
Operating System Requirements
• HP-UX 11.0
Disk Space (Estimated)
• 80 MB
Installation Requirements
• Root login to run swinstall
• The installation codeword shippedwith the HP-UX Application CD on a certificateentitled
Codeword For Updating Software.
• Install HP LocalDirector Controller before you install HP WebQoS. HP LDC is a
prerequisite for the fileset HPQOSLDC, and if HP LDC is not found, the fileset will be
excluded from the swinstall session.
• Run /opt/hpldc/admserv/setup after installing HP LDC.
Other Requirements
• A system already running Cisco LocalDirector version 2.1 or later.
