HP WebQoS for HP-UX Release Note
HP WebQoS on HP-UX
Installing HP WebQoS
Chapter 18
Upgrade the management user interface by uninstalling and then reinstalling the interface.
You cannot use HP ServiceControl (an early version of WebQoS) on a system where you have
installed and configured HP WebQoS. If the WebQoS setup script (described in the manual
Configuring HP WebQoS on HP-UX) finds HP ServiceControl, you will see the following
message: “Would you like to remove HPAdminControl now?” If you answer no, the
Setup script exits the program.
For more information on running the WebQoS setup script, refer to the manual Configuring
HP WebQoS on HP-UX. After you install WebQoS, the manual is in the following location:
/opt/webqos/docs/install_config_guide.pdf
Integrating WebQoS with the BroadVision One-To-One Server
If you are using the BroadVision One-To-One Server, you must install the BroadVision server
software before installing the WebQoS software. You must also set the following parameters
in the /etc/opt/webqos/qos.conf file on this system:
ENABLE_URL_ENCODING_BV
BV_SYSTEM_NAME
BV_USER_NAME
For more information about these parameters, refer to the section
Modifying WebQoS Global Configurations” in Chapter 3 of the Configuring HP WebQoS on
HP-UX manual.
