Installing HP WebQoS

This section describes how to install WebQoS and how to upgrade from an earlier version of

WebQoS. It also includes information on system prerequisites. You need root permission to

perform most of the tasks in this section.

Step 1. Check system prerequisites.

Step 2. Upgrade to WebQoS 2.2 (if you have an older version of WebQoS installed).

Step 3. Install the BroadVision One-To-One Server software (if you are integrating

WebQoS with the BroadVision server).

Step 4. Install the WebQoS software.

Step 5. Upgrade or install the management user interface.

Step 6. Install the required patches.

Step 7. Locate and print the manual Conﬁguring HP WebQoS on HP-UX. The manual is

installed with the WebQoS software in the following location:

/opt/webqos/docs/install_config_guide.pdf
