Digital send impressions: Number of impressions processed in digital send mode.
Copy versus digital send: Percentage of copy count and digital sends presented as a graph. The
higher your copy percentage, the greater the potential to save paper and reduce waste by
moving to digital processes.
Paper usage (sheets)/total impressions: Ratio indicating how much information (impressions) is
managed with paper. The lower the ratio, the more efficiently the device is being used (for
example, less paper is used to transfer information).
Top 10 paper usage
Reports the printers with the greatest paper usage among selected groups, enabling prioritized
follow-up.
Simplex count: Number of single-sided prints.
Duplex count: Number of sheets of paper printed in duplex (double-sided) mode; includes sheets
printed on one side while the device is in duplex mode.
Total count: Paper throughput, in sheets.
Copy impressions: Number of impressions processed in copy mode; each impression counts
once, regardless of
whether copied to a
single-sided or
double-sided copy.

HP ECOSMART FLEET
HP EcoSMART Fleet, available for fee, combines HP Carbon Footprint Calculator data and industry
leading HP Web Jetadmin fleet data to provide eco analysis such as carbon, power, and paper
usage information on a fleet of devices. A single dashboard is used to run real time scenarios against
an imaging and printing fleet’s eco usage to consolidate and convert printer data to environmental
metrics. Simple PDF or XML reporting provides IT professionals with environmentally relevant data in a
user friendly format.
Installation Checklist
HP EcoSMART Fleet runs as an application through a browser interface using the Microsoft IIS Web
service with a backend Microsoft SQL database. The following software must be installed with the
proper configurations to prevent any errors during the installation process for HP EcoSMART Fleet.
