What’s new in HP Web Jetadmin 10.3 SR7 (10.3.93994)
HP Web Jetadmin 10.3 SR7 (10.3.93994) includes the following new features:
NOTE: New device support and key improvements and fixes based on customer feedback are described in
the remainder of this document.
1. For HP Officejet Pro X476/X576 MFP and HP Officejet Pro X451/X551 devices that have firmware later
than version 1419BR, the Inactivity Timeout configuration option is now available from the Device
category on the Config tab for single device configurations, batch device configurations, and device
configuration templates.
2. For HP Officejet Pro X476/X576 MFP devices that have firmware later than version 1419BR, the
Outgoing Servers configuration option is now available from the Device category on the Config tab for
single device configurations, batch device configurations, and device configuration templates.
3. For HP Officejet Pro X476/X576 MFP devices that have firmware later than version 1419BR, the
following configuration options are now available from the Digital Sending category on the Config tab
for single device configurations, batch device configurations, and device configuration templates:

Email File Settings
●
Email Scan Settings

LDAP Search Method

LDAP Settings
4. For HP Officejet Pro X476/X576 MFP and HP Officejet Pro X451/X551 devices that have firmware later
than version 1419BR, the following configuration options are now available from the Security category
on the Config tab for single device configurations, batch device configurations, and device configuration
templates:

802.1X Authentication
●
Access Control for Device Functions
●
LDAP Sign In Setup
●
Restrict Color
●
Windows Sign In Setup
5. When upgrading to HP Web Jetadmin 10.3 SR7, HP Web Jetadmin will manage the HP Officejet Pro
X476/X576 MFP and HP Officejet Pro X451/X551 devices by using the Universal Plug-in (UPI) or the
discrete plug-in, depending on the firmware version that is installed on the device.

In HP Web Jetadmin 10.3 SR6 and earlier, HP Web Jetadmin will use the discrete plug-in to manage
these devices.
●
In HP Web Jetadmin 10.3 SR7, HP Web Jetadmin will use the HP Officejet Pro MFP UPI to manage
the HP Officejet Pro X476/X576 MFP devices if firmware later than version 1419BR is installed.
