Known issues
The HP Web Jetadmin software teams are addressing the following known issues. For more information
about fixes and product enhancements in future releases of HP Web Jetadmin, check this document regularly

1. Issue: HP Web Jetadmin will not install properly on a Traditional Chinese Windows 7 SP1 (64-bit) system
due to an incomplete installation of Microsoft SQL Server.
Background: The Locale ID in the Windows Registry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft
\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Perflib) is missing. During the SQL Server installation, the installer checks
the OS location and Locale ID in the Windows Registry. If the Locale ID is missing or does not match the
OS location, the installer returns the Performance counter registry hive corrupt error
message and the SQL Server installation fails.
Workaround: To add a Locale ID key, perform the following steps:
a. Run Regedit.
b. On the Registry Editor window, navigate to the following registry entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Perflib
c. Right-click the 0404 folder, and then select Export.
d. On the Export Registry File window, enter a name for the .reg file, navigate to the location to save
the file, and then click the Save button.
e. Right-click the exported .reg file, and then select Edit.
f. In the second line, change 0404 to 0C04.
g. Close and save the exported .reg file.
h. Double-click the exported .reg file, and import the file into the Windows Registry.
When the import is complete, a 0C04 folder is available in the same path as the 0404 folder.
After the Locale ID key is added, the SQL Server installation will complete successfully.

2. HP Web Jetadmin is unable to export the Outgoing Server names for HP FutureSmart devices. HP is
currently investigation this issue.
3. Issue: HP Web Jetadmin 10.3 SR7 might not automatically display the new features that are included in
firmware that is later than 1419BR if the HP Officejet Pro X476/X576 MFP and HP Officejet Pro X451/
X551 devices are upgraded from firmware version 1419BR to a later version after HP Web Jetadmin
10.3 SR7 is installed.
