The installer for HP Web Jetadmin checks for .NET and Microsoft Windows Installer components. If these
requirements are not met, the installer notifies the user and stops running. The installer might also request a
reboot depending on the state of the system at installation time.
To download Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 or .NET Framework 4.5, go to
Microsoft .NET Framework.
Click Downloads, and then navigate to the version of .NET Framework that you need to install.
To download Microsoft Windows Installer 4.5, go to the
Microsoft Download Center, and then search for the
keywords Windows Installer 4.5. Click the Windows Installer 4.5 Redistributable link, and then
follow the instructions to download and install the file that is appropriate for your operating system version
and platform.
NOTE: The installer for HP Web Jetadmin performs extensive disk space checking and provides an option to
redirect the installer to place either SQL Server instance files and directories or HP Web Jetadmin installation
directories in alternate storage paths.
NOTE: Always back up the HP Web Jetadmin installation and database before running an installation or
upgrade. For more information about the backup and restore scripts, review the
