Installing/Replacing a Network Interface
Card
1. Remove an existing card from either slot (1 or 2) by
unscrewing the Phillips-head screw from the top of the
card.
2.
Remove the card from the slot.
3.
Insert the new card into the slot.
4.
Ensure that the card is seated securely in the slot.
5.
Replace the Phillips-head screw that you removed from
the old network interface card in the top of the new
network interface card.
Closing the Cover
1. Replace the top cover of the HP VPN Server Appliance
SA3400/SA3450 chassis.
2.
Replace and tighten the six cover release screws.
3.
Reconnect all the cables, including the power cable to
the unit chassis.
