3 Using a web interface and a web server
This chapter describes the process used for updating the VMA SAN Gateway OE using the gateway
web interface and using a web server.
Checking the current OE version running on the VMA SAN Gateway
1. To check your current VMA SAN Gateway OE software version, connect to the gateway web
interface using a supported web browser.
2. To invoke the VMA SAN Gateway web interface, enter the gateway management IP address
into the URL/address bar of your selected web browser and press enter. The VMA SAN
Gateway web interface displays and you are prompted for the login user name and password.
3. Log in to the VMA SAN Gateway. The default user is admin with no password.
