associated firmware on all managed domains must be versions 2.1x, or later. For more information about

NOTE: VCEM is localized in English and Japanese, but may be installed on systems configured with
English, Japanese, German, French, Italian, and Spanish Windows operating systems.

VCEM 6.1 is an update to VCEM 1.20, 1.3x, 1.40, and 6.0 that adds new features and support for Virtual
Connect v3.0x firmware and the most recent HP BladeSystem platforms, which includes:
• Support for HP Integrity BL8x0c i2 series server blades
• HP ProLiant BL465c G7 server blade
• HP ProLiant BL685c G7 server blade
• HP NC550m 10Gb 2-port PCIe x8 Flex-10 Ethernet adapter
• Up to 128 connections per server profile
• Operations compatibility with future releases of Virtual Connect v3.x firmware
• Enhancements to VCEM role-based access include display filters and the new Domain Group Limited
Operator
• VCEM 6.1 can be installed on a new server or used to update existing installations of VCEM 1.20
through 6.0.
