HP Virtual Connect Enterprise Manager (VCEM) version 6.0 centralizes network connectivity and workload
mobility for HP BladeSystem servers that use Virtual Connect to access local area networks (LANs) and
Storage Area Networks (SANs), helping organizations to increase productivity, respond faster to workload
and infrastructure changes, and reduce operating costs.
Revision history
VCEM 6.0 is an update to VCEM 1.20, 1.3x, and 1.40. The current version number directly supersedes
1.40 and aligns with other products delivered on the HP Insight Software media 6.00. These release notes
also supersede prior release notes for VCEM 1.2x, 1.3x, and 1.40.

IMPORTANT: If you plan to upgrade your VC firmware to 2.30, you must now upgrade to 2.31. VC
firmware 2.31 fixes a problem in VC firmware 2.30 that may prevent existing VC Domain Groups from
upgrading VC Domains to VC firmware 2.30 without performing a series of manual steps.
