• Patch 25 of the Java 7 JRE
NOTE: Early versions of Java 7 introduced a defect in the handling of SSL
connections. This results in a random SSL alert handshake exception in HTTPS connections
and requests to the HP VAN SDN Controller or any of its applications. This issue was
corrected in patch 25 of Java 7. However, this problem was reintroduced in patch 40
of Java 7 and, therefore, you should not use patch 40 of Java 7 with the controller. To
determine the version of Java running in your Ubuntu system, use the java -version
command.
