Changing the controller password
The HP VAN SDN Controller uses a Keystone authentication server to authenticate administrators.
The installation process creates these two user accounts in the Keystone server:
sdn
rsdoc
In both accounts, the default password is skyline. After completing the HP VAN SDN Controller
installation, change the password on both accounts using the Keystone command-line interface.
To change the user password:
NOTE: Where a command in this procedure is shown with multiple lines, the line breaks are
inserted at the points where a space occurs in the actual command.
1. Retrieve the user’s user-id.
For example, with only the default users enabled:
~$ keystone -token ADMIN --endpoint
http://localhost:35357/v2.0/ user-list
Output similar to Figure 6 appears.
