3 HP Network Protector SDN Application
Except where noted, applications have the same host hardware and software requirements as the
supported version of the controller. For detailed information about these requirements, see “HP
VAN SDN Controller” (page 4).

3.2 Hardware requirements
The HP Network Protector SDN Application has hardware requirements that are different from the
hardware requirements of the controller:
• 3.0 GHz x86-64 or equivalent processor with the following system cores:
