3.4 vPars Media
Starting with vPars A.05.03, the HP-UX 11i v3 vPars software is distributed on the HP-UX 11i
v3 Operating Environment media. There is no longer a separate HP-UX 11i v3 Virtual Partitions
DVD.
HP-UX 11i v3 vPars software is distributed via the Virtual Server OE (VSE-OE) and the Data
Center OE (DC-OE). To install vPars, select the optional software bundle for HP-UX 11i v3 vPars
(T1335DC) prior to installing or updating HP-UX.
The vPars software for HP-UX 11i v3 is delivered in the following ways:
• As a stand-alone product on the HP-UX 11i v3 Application Software DVD.
• As a product included in the HP-UX 11i v3 Virtual Server OE.
• As a product included in the HP-UX 11i v3 Data Center OE.
3.5 Obsolescence of vPars Releases
Below are the minimum end of support dates for the vPars releases in order of release date.
NOTE: The final vPars releases within a given OS will be supported through the end of the
support life of the OS.
