• Guest AVIO Storage (Bundle Name: GuestAVIOStor)
This product provides the new HP-UX 11i v2 and 11iv3 AVIO Guest Storage driver. It is also
included in both the HP-UX 11i v2 December 2007 and 11iv3 September 2008 Install
Kernels.
• Host AVIO Storage (Bundle Name: HostAVIOStor)
This product provides host support for the HP-UX 11i v2 and 11iv3 AVIO Host Storage driver.
Networking:
• Guest AVIO LAN (Bundle Name: GuestAvioLan)
This product provides the new HP-UX 11i v2 and 11iv3 AVIO Guest Networking driver. It is
also included in both the HP-UX 11i v2 December 2007 and 11iv3 September 2008 Install
Kernels.
• Host AVIO LAN (Bundle Name: HostAvioLan)
This product provides host support for the HP-UX 11i v2 and 11iv3 AVIO Host Networking
driver.
HP recommends checking http://www.docs.hp.com website for new updates to these products.
Newer versions of these products are available that are highly recommended for installation. Install
the new versions immediately on top of the HP-UX 11i v2 December 2007 or 11iv3 September 2008
release as appropriate.
There are also AVIO Storage and Networking EFI drivers that are shipped with the Integrity VM
Version 3.5 and 4.0 releases.
To use AVIO with Integrity VM 3.5, you must install the HP-UX 11i v2 December 2007 (0712) OE
and Integrity VM Version 3.5 on the Host. Host OE’s prior to HP-UX 11i v2 December 2007 and
Integrity VM releases prior to Integrity VM Version 3.5 are not supported with AVIO. All HP-UX 11iv2
Guest OE’s starting with September 2006 (0609) are supported with AVIO.
To use AVIO with Integrity VM 4.0, you must install the HP-UX 11i v3 September 2008 (0809) OE
and Integrity VM Version 4.0 on the Host. Host OE’s prior to HP-UX 11i v3 September 2008 are not
supported with Integrity VM 4.0 and AVIO. All HP-UX 11iv3 Guest OE’s starting with March 2007
(0703) are supported with AVIO.
