Supported EMS Hardware Monitors
The following EMS monitors are supported on HP 9000 systems running the HP-UX
11i v2 operating system:
• LPMC (now CPU) (lpmc_em)
• Memory (dm_memory)
• Core HW (dm_core_hw)
• Chassis Code (dm_chassis)
• Disk (disk_em)
• IPMI Forward Progress Log Monitor (fpl_em)
The following EMS hardware monitors are supported on HP Integrity® servers
running the HP-UX 11i v2 operating system:
• Corrected Platform Error Monitor (cpe_em)
• IPMI Forward Progress Log Monitor (fpl_em)
• CMC Monitor (cmc_em)
• Itanium Core Hardware Monitor(ia64_corehw)
• SCSI Disk Monitor (disk_em)
• Itanium Memory Monitor (memory_ia64)
Defect Fixes
• QXCR1000981193
Problem: WBEMWrapperMonitor logs indefinite error messages to the
cimserver.
Problem Description: WBMWrapperMonitor was sending messages to the
cimserver causing a high CPU utilization. This occurs even when cimserver is
not running.
Resolution: This problem is fixed.
• QXCR1001000095
Problem: The EMS Wrapper is unable to register the EMS resources.
Problem Description: The EMS Wrapper requires longer time to process
rm_recv_reply() requests but it times out in 1 second, resulting in no monitor
setup for this resource.
Resolution: This problem is fixed.
• QXCR1001011927
Problem: Memory leak with the SFM Thermal Provider.
Problem Description: The Thermal Provider causes high memory leak. When
the Thermal Provider is disabled, the memory usage of SFMProviderModule
does not increase.
Resolution: This problem is addressed.

Problem: The errors displayed while installing SFM under different scenarios.
