Resolution: This problem is fixed by ensuring changes are committed only after all database operations for the transaction are complete. • While performing the product upgrade in the DRD environment, SFM cannot take backup of the SFM related data from its database. Problem: The administrator is required to perform manual steps listed in the Installation failure scenarios document at www.hp.com/go/hpux-diagnostics-sfm-docs, before performing the product upgrade in DRD environment.

Supported browsers Following lists the browsers supported by SFM: • Internet explorer version 6.0 and above • Mozilla version 1.5 and above Limitations and workarounds • Problem: The Field Replaceable Units (FRU's) that are erroneous and marked for deconfiguration, the health status on HP SMH will not be in synchronization with the health state on the Onboard Administrator (OA) homepage.

Workaround: To reflect newly configured IP Addresses in SFM Indication, disable and enable SFMProviderModule using the following commands cimprovider -dm SFMProviderModule cimprovider -em SFMProviderModule • Problem: The firmware version of Management Processor firmware (MFW), given by MPProvider and FirmwareRevisionProvider on HP Integrity rx2800 i2 server may be incorrect. Description: The revision number (third field in':' separated version string) may be incorrect.

upgraded from prior to September 2012 release to September 2012 web release and later, the postgres data needs to be migrated to 8.4.8 format. Data migration involves backup in 7.4.2 version using the pg_dumpall and restore in 8.4.8 version using the psql operations. Both of these operations requires a running postgres service. But in the DRD environment there is a limitation that no service can be run on the cloned disk when products are either installed or upgraded.
