Supported EMS hardware monitors
The following EMS monitors are supported on HP 9000 systems running the HP-UX 11i v2 operating
system:
• LPMC (now CPU) (lpmc_em)
• Memory (dm_memory)
• Core HW (dm_core_hw)
• Chassis Code (dm_chassis)
• Disk (disk_em)
• IPMI Forward Progress Log Monitor (fpl_em)
The following EMS hardware monitors are supported on HP Integrity® servers running the HP-UX
11i v2 operating system:
• Corrected platform error monitor (cpe_em)
• IPMI forward progress log monitor (fpl_em)
• CMC monitor (cmc_em)
• Itanium core hardware monitor (ia64_corehw)
• SCSI Disk Monitor (disk_em)
• Itanium memory monitor (memory_ia64)
Defect fixes
• QXCR1001158347
Problem: Frequent use of sfmconfig -w -e/s command causes core dump in
SFMProviderModule.
Resolution: This problem is fixed.
• QXCR1001166853
Problem: When you use sfmconfig -w -e/s command in loop, it might fail with the
Connection time out error.
Resolution: This problem is fixed.
• QXCR1001030403
Problem: The BPS_REMOVED event does not exist in CER.
Resolution: This problem is fixed.
• QXCR1001099039
Problem: The event # 267 has severity "informational". The severity is increased to Serious
or Critical.
Resolution: This problem is fixed.
• QXCR1001083300
Problem: The event # 3574 "VOLTAGE_FAULT" is not configured.
Resolution: This problem is fixed.
