Table A-2 Description of the Physical Memory Fields and Values
DescriptionFields and Values
Indicates the status of the physical memory module. An OK status indicates that all the
modules are configured properly. If the status of the physical memory module indicates an
error, click Events to see the details of the errors. In Figure A-2, eight instances indicate that
the system has eight physical memory modules.
Status
Indicates the cabinet that contains the memory modules. In Figure A-2, all the modules are
in the same cabinet.
Cabinet Number
Indicates the cell slot. In Figure A-2, the system has a single cell.Cell Slot
Indicates the physical location of the module. The location of the field replaceable unit (FRU)
corresponding to instance 1 is 0a.
Slot
Indicates the capacity of the memory.Size
Indicates the type of the module.Module Type
Indicates the type of the physical memory.Memory Type
Indicates the serial number of the FRU.Serial Number
Indicates the part number of the FRU.Part Number
