HP Systems Insight Manager is Based on the WBEM Open Standard
The HP Systems Insight Manager is based on the Web Based Enterprise Management
(WBEM) standard, a set of technologies designed to consolidate the management of
multiple servers of possibly varying OS types, as well as several other open standards.
Supplies Information to OpenView
As your need grow, the HP Systems Insight Manager can grow with you. You can
expand its capabilities with extensions to SIM, you can configure additional systems
into numerous management domains, and when you are ready for enterprise-level
management you can use the HP Systems Insight Manager to feed information into
the OpenView Suite of products. See “Tools for Managing an Entire Enterprise”
(page 121).
Tools for Managing an Entire Enterprise
