6 Configuring Printers
Printers can be connected in three ways:
Local: physically connected to the system.
Remote: physically connected to another system.
Network: installed as a domain on a LAN.

Starting and Stopping the LP Spooler
Before you can print using the LP spooler, one or more printers must be configured
and the scheduler started. At the first system boot, the scheduler is not started if no
printers are configured.
