Known Problems and Compatibility Issues
Following known problems and compatibility related issue is applicable for the current release
of the product.
Known Problems
• If attribute values, included within double quotes, extend on multiple lines and if a comment
is included immediately after this value in the same line, an error is displayed.
• While creating a package, the swpackage command automatically introduces the category
object in the package based on the category_tag attribute value set at the bundle or at the
product object level. As the user do not have permission to set the attribute value using the
swpackage command, SPB issues the following error:
ERROR: Invalid value "SystemManagement" for attribute "tag" in category
SystemManagement on line 12. Forbidden attribute set.
Users can ignore this error while creating a package.
Compatibility Issue
If a software package is created using the SPB tool version A.02.00.28.442 or an earlier version,
and if the package is validated using the SPB tool version A.02.00.29.444 then the users may
notice some additional standard error messages related to requisites due to packaging policy
changes. For more information about these error messages, see “Errors Related to Attribute
Values” (page 24)
