Using Jobs and the Job Browser

Introduction
The Job Browser GUI, an interactive interface for managing remote
operations. The Job Browser lets you:
• Create copy, install, or remove jobs
• Monitor job status and logfiles
• List job information
•Schedule jobs
The swjob command lets you monitors jobs from the command line.
Various command options help you manage and tune performance of jobs
and remote operations.
NOTE The Terminal User Interface (TUI) has some limitations when used with
the Job Browser:
• Error-handling messages may garble the screen. Type
Ctrl-L to
refresh the screen if this happens.
• If you display
Actions→Job Description→Show Options, some scrolling
is required to view the entire screen.
Starting the Job Browser
To start the Job Browser, type:
sd
The Job Browser window displays on your screen.
