Options and
Operands
XToolkit Options X window options for the GUI. See “XToolkit Options
and Changing Display Fonts” on page 53.
-i Run the GUI program. See “Using the swcopy GUI” on
page 138.
-p Preview a copy task from the command line by running
it through the Analysis Phase and then exiting.
-v Turn on verbose output to stdout and display all
activity to the screen.
-C
session_file
Run the command and save the current option and
operand values to a session_file for re-use in another
session. See “Session Files” on page 61.
-f
software_file
Read a list of software selections from a separate file
instead of (or in addition to) the command line. See
“Software Files” on page 58.
-Q
date
Schedules a job for the given date when remote
operations are enabled. See “Scheduling Jobs from the
Command Line” on page 234 and Chapter 6, “Remote
Operations Overview,” on page 189
-s
source
Use the software source specified by source instead of
the default, /var/spool/sw. The syntax is:

directory
]
host may be a host name, domain name, or internet
address (for example, 15.1.48.23). directory is an
absolute path.
-S
session_file
Run the command based on values saved from a
previous session, as defined in
session_file
