SNAplus2 RJE Hardware and Software

Requirements

The SNAplus2 RJE hardware and software requirements for your

HP 9000 are described below.

HP 9000 Hardware Requirements

SNAplus2 RJE requires the following HP 9000 hardware:

• An HP 9000 computer system (D, E, F, G, H, I, K, T, R, V, L, N-class

or Superdome server, or B, C, or J-class workstations)

• 1.9 MB of disk space beyond the requirements of other applications

for a server or workstation

Running SNAplus2 RJE in a client/server environment requires

additional LAN/9000 Link hardware components for servers or

workstations, including the LAN interface card.

HP 9000 Software Requirements

SNAplus2 RJE requires the following HP 9000 software:

• HP-UX operating system release B.10. 20 or B.11.00 or later. Note

that Superdome systems require the HP-UX 11i operating system.

Running SNAplus2 RJE in a client/server environment requires the

additional ARPA Services/9000 software for servers or workstations.

Optional Running xsnapadmin, the conﬁguration and management GUI, requires

the following:

• Motif interface software

• bit-mapped display to run X11

• HP-HIL mouse
