The information in this document applies to the release of HP-UX SNAplus2 version R7.11.31.300,
for HP-UX 11i v3.
Announcement
This version of SNAplus2 (R7.11.31.300) is supported on systems running HP-UX 11i v3 operating
system.
NOTE: Token Ring and FDDI adapters are not supported on HP-UX 11i v3. SNA R7 configurations
on FDDI and Token Ring are not supported. SNAplus2 R7 is now supported on HP Superdome 2
Systems and HP Integrity Blade Systems, except with the PCI SDLC X.25 (J3525A) adapter.
What is in this version
This release includes defect fixes and does not contain any new feature. For information on the
defect fixes included in this version of SNAplus2, see “Defect fixes in this version” (page 6).
Features not supported in this release
• Support for NIO and EISA SDLC drivers is no longer available on HP-UX 11iv3.
• Migration of multi-Unix node client-server system from SNAplus in phases using port numbers
5707, 5708 and 5709 is no longer available on SNAPlus2 R7.
• Token Ring and FDDI adapters are not supported on HP-UX 11i v3.
• PCI SDLC with X.25 (J3525A) adapters are not supported on HP Integrity Superdome 2 and
HP Integrity Blade Platform.
