Publishing History
The manual publishing date and part number indicate its current edition. The publishing date will change when a
new edition is printed. Minor changes may be made without changing the publishing date. The manual part number

New and Changed Information in This Edition
The Session-Level Interface (SLI) is now included. This is a higher-level interface than the existing RUI interface,
allowing you to write programs that operate at a logical message level rather than being concerned with the detail
of individual RUs.
Primary RUI is now included. This allows you to write an application that acts as an SNA primary for
communications with downstream PUs.
SNAplus2 now supports Windows Client computers running the Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Server
2003 operating systems.
