mv /stand/build/vmunix_test /stand/vmunix
Step 4. Use /usr/sbin/reboot to reboot the system. If the system does not boot
with the new kernel, reboot using /stand/vmunix.prev and fix the
problem. Refer to the HP-UX System Administrator Manual for
procedures on rebooting, or the Solving the HP-UX Problems Manual for
more problem solving information.
Checking SNAplus2 Status
If the new kernel boots successfully, then the SNAplus2 software is
probably running. Use one of the following commands to check for the
status of SNAplus2 on your system.
/opt/sna/bin/X11/xsnapadmin
or
/opt/sna/bin/snap2adm
If the SNAplus2 software is not running, issue the following command to
manually start SNAplus2:
/opt/sna/bin/snap start
If this command fails, do the following:
