Running SAM SNAplus2 Installation

Step 3. Choose “SNAplus2 Installation.”
From the “Actions” menu, you can add, modify or remove any of the
components in the list.
For help on the installation, use the SNAplus2 Installation online help.
After you have installed SNAplus2, verify your installation by checking
that the proper libraries and product files are present. This process is
described in Chapter 3, “Verifying the SAM SNAplus2 Installation
Process.”
Determine whether you need to change any information in the terminfo
database (especially if non-HP terminals are used). This task is
described in Chapter 4, “The terminfo Database.”
NOTE Online manual entries (man pages) for all of the SNAplus2 products are
available. (They are in the directory /opt/sna/share/man. To enable
viewing, the environment variable
MANPATH=/opt/sna/share/man:$MANPATH is set during installation.)
Removing SNAplus2 Software
Before removing the SNAplus2 software from your system, you must
first remove the SNAplus2 Environment.
To remove the SNAplus2 Environment:
Step 1. Run SAM.
Step 2. Choose “Networking and Communications.”
Step 3. Choose “SNAplus2 Installation.”
From the “Actions” menu you can choose to remove any or all of the
components in the list, including the SNAplus2 environment.
