HP SNAplus2 Link Hardware and Software Requirements

Running HP SNAplus2 Link in a client/server environment requires

additional LAN/9000 Link hardware components for servers or

workstations, including the LAN interface card.

Running HP SNAplus2 Link using QLLC requires X.25 hardware and

software.

Running HP SNAplus2 Link using Token Ring (supported card is

A5783A), 802.3/Ethernet, or FDDI (supported card is A3739B)requires

hardware for each link type.

HP 9000 and HP Integrity Servers Software

Requirements on 11i v2

To run on HP-UX 11i v2, the HP SNAplus2 Link requires the HP-UX

operating system 11i v2 to be installed.

Running HP SNAplus2 Link in a client/server environment requires

additional LAN/9000 Link software components for servers and

workstations, including ARPA/Berkeley Sockets.

Running HP SNAplus2 Link using QLLC requires the X.25 software

(J2793A).

Running HP SNAplus2 Link using Token Ring (supported card is

A5783A), 802.3/Ethernet, or FDDI (supported card is A3739B) requires

software for each link type.

Optional Running xsnapadmin, the conﬁguration and management GUI, requires

the following:

• Motif interface software

• Bit-mapped display to run X11

• HP-HIL Mouse
