HP SNAplus2 3270/3179G Hardware and Software Requirements

for servers or workstations

Running HP SNAplus2 3270/3179G in a client/server environment

requires additional LAN/9000 Link hardware components for servers or

workstations, including the LAN interface card.

HP 9000 and HP Integrity Servers Software

Requirements supported on HP-UX 11i v2

HP SNAplus2 3270/3179G requires HP-UX operating systems B.11.23

and later with NLS dependency.

Running HP SNAplus2 3270/3179G in a client/server environment

requires the additional ARPA Services/9000 software for servers or

workstations.

Optional Running HP SNAplus2 3270/3179G with Native Language Support

(NLS) requires the following:

• Native Language Support (B1864, part of the HP-UX operating

system.) This includes NLS libraries and routines

• Native Language I/O (B2200) in order to have the proper fonts

Running xsnapadmin, the conﬁguration and management GUI, requires

the following components:

• Motif interface software

• Bit-mapped display to run X11

• HP-HIL Mouse
